Transitions with a torn edge

Swap a plain cut for a punch hole transition: the next shot bursts through a torn circle, a star or a ragged paper edge.

What’s inside?

77 punch hole transitions in 4K: 58 .mov files and 19 PNGs. Discs, rings, crosses and asterisks, most with ragged edges. Made with @worldwide.films.

How it works

Each .mov is named with the blend mode to use, like 35 (normal divide).mov. Set the mode it lists and skip the guesswork.

Use a hole as a window

Play a second shot inside a torn square, circle or heart while your main shot keeps rolling. Set it up with Track Matte or Set Matte, as the PDF guide explains.

Match any hole to your grade

Add Lumetri Color to a hole and drag the Hue vs Hue curve to recolor it to fit your grade.
