Building a film look from scratch means halation, grain, color and glow, then tweaking until it feels right. The Film Look pack gives you the halation, grain, LUTs and glow as simple drops.

The film look without film

Give digital footage halation, grain, film color and worn film frames from one pack, instead of building each layer yourself.

What’s inside?

Halation and Vintage Glow presets, film LUTs (.cube), PNG mattes, grain, film overlays and projector sounds (.mp3). The overlay file names include the blend mode to set, like Screen or Multiply.

How it works

In Premiere Pro or After Effects, duplicate the clip, stack the copy on top and apply a halation preset to the copy. The steps are in the preset's tooltip.

Film color in any editor

Put a film LUT on the clip and lay grain or a film overlay on top. The LUTs, mattes and overlays work in any editor. Only the halation and glow presets need Premiere Pro or After Effects.

How to install

Download your files from the link in your confirmation email, then follow the product listing's setup guide.

If your computer says the file is corrupted, delete it and download it again. If your computer cannot open the file, you are probably missing the program needed to open that file type. Download that program and try again.
